My applets
- Musical Set Theory
- A musical analysis/visualization tool for post-tonal music,
this was the "featured applet" for a while on Gamelan.
- Fractal Waffle
- A rectangular implementation of the (typically triangular)
recursive
algorithm for fractal geometry's Sierpinski gasket
- GPACalc
- A little applet that will help you answer that nagging
question, "What do I have to get in my Psych class in order
to maintain my 3.0?"
- AdBanner
- AdBanner is an animated image panel which allows each image
to have its own associated URL. Clicking on the image loads its
associated URL into the browser frame or window.
- Jay's Little Calculator
- Finally, we can use the internet to prove that two plus two really
does equal four.
- Scribble
- I know, everybody's got one, but hey, this one's mine.
Internet Java Resources
These are links that are of interest to the Java developer:
- Of course, Sun Microsystems,
where Oak grew up and the Green Team
yielded their first little beans...
- JavaWorld, the online magazine
for the Java Community
- Introduction to
Programming with Java, the on-line notes for Computer Science 124:
Introductory Programming, a course being taught in Fall term (1996) at
Hobart and William Smith Colleges by David Eck. Extremely well-written
and engaging.
- Gamelan, the official
directory of Java resources on the internet--the coffeehouse of the future.
(It's pronounced "GAM-uh-lahn.")
- JARS, the Java Applet Rating Service
- Digital
Espresso, something to read while you sip
- The Yahoo Category Listing is getting to be a world in itself.
- Marimba, a Java startup
company formed in February of 1996 by four members of the original Java
team, makers of Castanet and
Bongo.
- The
Java Language Specification, in its very full form, is available in
HTML. Not for the queasy.
